Combined with exercise and fitness apps currently on the market (Fitbit, Apple Health, etc.), Gourmetmiles will be able to analyze what you burn vs what you consume, painting an even better digital picture of your health. Exciting times in digital health! 

The beta version of Gourmetmiles (released in 2017) was used in 3 countries with over 3,000 active users within the first months of launch. We've since pulled the app from the app stores to pivot from restaurant loyalty to complete diet monitoring.

Since our business model change, we've been granted a patent (pro-bono from UCLA Law School) and have built a working prototype of our food scale. Our scale can be seen in action at www.gourmetmiles.com.

As with most startups, seed-stage fundraising is our current biggest challenge. Our beta version was fully bootstrapped and costs associated with app development, maintenance, legal, and marketing depleted resources. With a reimagined business model and patent in-hand, we're looking to get back in the game with even more downloads and customer excitement than before!
